2023 Transfer Station Tags (valid July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023) are available at the Department of Public Works office located at 1 Municipal Drive. The cost is $10 to Hudson Residents (cash or check only), free if you are a Veteran or 65 and older.
You may purchase online by clicking here. For an additional $2, the transfer station tag can be mailed to your residence.
Tags will no longer be sold at Town Hall.
As of November 1, 2022, mattresses, box springs, and textiles will no longer be allowed in the trash. New state rules require mattresses and textiles be kept out of the trash so they can be recycled or donated for reuse. In order to comply, Hudson has set up a mattress recycling bin at the Transfer Station.
To pay for the mattress (and box spring) recycling, please come to the DPW Office at 1 Municipal Drive to pay (cash or check only) and receive a voucher to then recycle the mattress and/or box spring at the transfer station or you can purchase a voucher online.
The fee is $30 per mattress, $30 per box spring.
