At its meeting on August 25, 2025, the Hudson Select Board publicly addressed recent social media posts and email communication which targeted employees of the Town.
While we certainly understand the public’s right to freedom of expression and recognize the prevalence of social media in everyone’s lives today, it is discouraging when false and disparaging information is disseminated which is harmful to the reputation of public employees. We are fortunate to have a dedicated group of department heads and front-line employees who are invested in making Hudson the safe, vibrant, and welcoming community that we all greatly value.
We encourage residents to stay engaged in the public discussions about our Town and to seek information that is accurate. The Town Manager and the department heads are always available to respond to inquiries from residents. A new platform for Select Board and other meeting agendas, Community Online Agenda, has been created and the link to this platform is on the Town’s homepage. Additionally, the Town Manager’s webpage features Town Meeting Central which contains all pertinent information relative to upcoming town meetings. Our next town meeting is scheduled for September 15, 2025 at 7:30PM in the Hudson High School Auditorium.
We all want the best for our Town and its residents, and we hope that we can work together moving forward.
