Library Cards

Borrower's cards are issued free the first time.
A photo ID and proof of address are required to get a borrower's card.
Lost cards are replaced for $1.
Borrower's cards for children ages 5 to 11 years are issued in the Children's Room.
Children and adults may use their cards in either department and at any C/W MARS participating library.
You must present your Library Card or Valid Photo ID for any and all transactions.

Most Hudson items are checked out for 3 weeks.
Most print materials and DVDs may be renewed once.
Your eligible Library items will renew automatically.
Overdue Fines for Books and Print Materials are $0.05 per day, per item up to a maximum of $0.50 per item.
Overdue Fines for DVDs, BluRays, and Video Games are $0.50 per day, per item up to a maximum of $2 per item.
Overdue Fines for Museum Passes have a $5 late fee, not waived on Fridays.
Overdue Fines for Launchpads are $5 per day, up to a maximum of $10.
Overdue Fines for Library of Things are $5 per day, up to a maximum of $25. These fines are not waived.
Most fines are waived for items returned to our library.
Items from other libraries may have different rules.
