2026 Retiree Open Enrollment Information
The Town of Hudson's Annual Retiree Open Enrollment period will take place in the month of November 2025. This is the time when retirees may enroll in or make changes to their medical insurance coverage. Open Enrollment is the only period during the year when changes are permitted unless you experience a qualifying life event (e.g., marriage, divorce, birth, or adoption).
During this time, you may: Add or remove dependents; enroll in or drop coverage; and/or make changes to your current medical plan.
All changes must be submitted to the Treasurer’s Office via Treasurer@townofhudson.org or in-person by November 29, 2025, at noon, for coverage to become effective on January 1, 2026. Note, changes will be made to your December withholdings, which pay for your January coverage.

Note: To pay the Employee/Employer split cost, the retiree must have been enrolled in medical or life insurance at the time of retirement. If you were not enrolled in medical or life insurance at the time of retirement, you will be responsible for 100% of the premium if you choose to enroll in retiree benefits.
